Friday’s Workout: 3 miles @ 30 minutes
I’m trying to be a little more proactive with my posts, so it doesn’t look like I don’t know what day it is. Obviously, most people are not insomniacs like me (which is really messing with my running!), and will most likely be reading my post on Saturday, so from now on, I’ll be posting the actual name of the day instead of “Today’s Workout.”

First off, I was really excited to find that I was nominated for another award (two in two weeks! I’m starting to think that 2 is my lucky number!), the Sisterhood of the World Blogger’s Award. Thanks, Lily!
Just like with the Liebster Award, I’ve seen this award going around on the Internet a lot, but it doesn’t have as many rules. It’s not geared for just new bloggers, and is pretty cut and dry. There are a few questions you’re asked, and then you go ahead and nominate some other awesome bloggers that you think are deserving of the award.
Questions:
1. What is your favorite color?
The moment of decision…the first color that came to mind for me was blue, because it’s the color of the ocean. I honestly didn’t know what my favorite color was at that point!
2. Favorite animal?
I think we all saw this one coming! Dogs, of course! More specifically, Basset Hounds…
3. Favorite non-alcoholic drink?
None other than my very own protein packed, low fat piña colada shake inspired by Katie.
4. Facebook or Twitter?
Facebook, all the way! Everything else is a rip off of the original!
5. Favorite pattern?
I’m really more of a solids girl, but I do love my Lily Pulitzer dresses, so I guess I’d choose anything floral or with a tropical theme.

6. What is your passion?
Besides running, I’d have to say writing. I’ve worked as a writer/journalist/editor for the past seven years, and when my career changed a little bit this past year, where I have to do more business related things as opposed to write, I really started to miss it…and ended up starting this blog!
