Holiday Challenge: Epic Fail

Time to get back on track, because there’s a huge difference between 5 miles and 26.2.

Maybe it was because deep down in the corner of my mind, I knew it wouldn’t last…or because I knew that if I “came out” to everyone about my quest to run every day between Thanksgiving and New Year’s, I might receive comments about how it’s probably not the best idea to mix training for my first full marathon with trying to run every day straight for over a month. It could lead to injury, or even worse, me getting sick of running. Well, neither of those things happened, because my holiday challenge didn’t last more than two weeks. Continue reading

Treadmill Incline

There seems to be a lot of controversy about treadmill incline out there, and I wanted to share my thoughts about the topic with everyone out there. Some people believe that in order to get a workout, you must incline your tm, as it mirrors running outdoors. Others believe that this can lead to injury.
